Meet Your Coach

Hi, I’m Rachel.

I’ve lived a lot of different experiences throughout my life. I’m a mother of four. I'm a teacher. I’m a paramedic. I’ve owned my own business for more than 3 decades. And over the years, my family and I have opened our home and our lives to people who needed a place to feel safe, supported, and cared for. We’ve welcomed adolescents, young adults, and entire families into our home…sometimes for a few days or weeks, sometimes for months or even years.

All of these experiences have shaped me. They’ve introduced me to people from many different walks of life and taught me that everyone carries a story, everyone faces challenges, and there is rarely just one way to see a situation. Most importantly, my life has taught me the value of simply being present with another person, listening without judgment and being willing to see the world from their perspective.

Buddhism has been another important part of my journey.

My Buddhist practice has deeply influenced the way I understand life: peace and happiness, suffering and change, relationships and connection, and the process of becoming more fully ourselves. I’ve found that Buddhist principles aren't simply ideas to think about. They are practical ways of meeting everyday life with greater awareness, compassion, curiosity, and intention. That’s what I can offer you through Buddhist life coaching. Not answers. Not a formula for how you should live. And certainly not a set of beliefs you have to adopt. Instead, I offer a space where you can slow down, look honestly at what’s happening in your life, and explore what matters most to you.

I believe you already have more wisdom than you think.

My role isn't to tell you what your answers should be, but rather to walk alongside you as you discover them. I’ll listen. I’ll ask questions. I’ll sometimes offer a perspective you may not have considered. And together, we can explore what is getting in the way, what you want to change, and what it might look like to move forward with greater clarity and intention. My life experiences have given me many perspectives to draw from. My Buddhist practice gives me a framework through which to understand it.

But your life is your own, and your path is yours to discover. I’m simply here to walk alongside you for a while.
